Message from RI President

 In Rotary, each one of us has been assigned a job. Its title is Rotarian. Our duties are to offer relevant service locally and internationally, and to expand our club’s capacity for service by inviting
professional and business leaders to become members and promoting a positive image locally.
Our job description also calls for each of us to be an example of ethical behavior in our professional and personal lives, to act as leaders in our club and community, and to fully support Rotary’s highest priority of polio eradication.
The job of Rotarian brings immense benefits. We enjoy incomparable fellowship with one another and the great personal satisfaction that comes from serving others. If you believe in Rotary and its power to make a difference in the world, it is time to stand up and commit to doing the best job you can — with all of your mind, your heart, and your soul. The Future of Rotary Is in Your Hands.

My Dear Teammates
My warm Rotary greetings and good wishes to you.
At the outset Madhu and I convey our hearty SANKARANTI greetings to you and your family.
A wink of the eye and six months of our year together have gone by. We have basked in the glory of working hand-in-hand, unstintedly striving to achieve our cherished goals. We still have quite sometime to go, and the time to look back, to review, will be in June 2010, at our Awards Nite, when we shall take stock of what we have accomplished.

DISTRICT CONFERENCE
Our DISTRICT CONFERENCE will be held on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th February 2010 at Hyderabad’s state of the art Auditorium, SHILPAKALA VEDIKA, Hitech City, under the able chairmanship of PP Dayanand Gauri with excellent assistance from other wonderful Rotarians from my home club, the Rotary Club of Secunderabad.. Aptly christened ‘SANGAMAM’ or ‘The Confluence’ our District Conference will drive home the message that Rotary represents a meeting or the merging of like minded friends, united together in the cause of doing good in the world, standing for eternal values in a seemingly changing society, proclaiming that humankind is nothing but ONE WORLD, ONE FAMILY. |
IMMUNIZATION DAYS (NIDs)
Government of India has announced the dates of National Immunization Days (NIDs). They are: Sunday the 10th Janurary, 2010 and Sunday the 7th February, 2010
