Tricycles Distribution on 21st November,
Tricycles are distributed for all the physically challenged identified by clubs in the Hyderabad city.  This is the promise made by IPDG Dr T.Vijendra Rao last year.  Governor Chris Holmes from Dist 5950, the sponsoring dist for this project is visiting on this day.  Venue: Rai Business School, Opp: IDPL, R & D Centre, Balanagar, Hyderabad at 10-30 AM

Safe drinking water is the basic need and the population is constantly exposed to water-borne diseases. Due to the intense drought conditions prevailing in these areas, the dearth of safe drinking water is leading to a series of contagious diseases.

Women folk have to carry drinking water from long distances. In several of these communities, the drinking water needs are met at present from drawing the water from villages ponds, which are put into multi purpose use and are not potable due to contamination.

Cost of each Hand well including Survey, drilling charges, Casing, Indian Mark-II Hand pump Set, platform, Soak pit and Name plate - US $700.
